October 2-4 at Knoxville Pilot locations

Last year’s event raised $93,350 – another record year.

Pilot Celebrity Pumpers is the United Way of Greater Knoxville’s largest special event fundraiser each year. The three-day fundraiser includes local media personalities, elected officials and other celebrities who pump gas and greet the community. Since 1992, the annual event has contributed more than $1.2 million to the United Way, funding programs to help those most in need in our community. The event, held at all Knoxville-area Pilot stores on Oct. 10-12, featured more than 75 elected officials, media personalities and University of Tennessee sports celebrities. The volunteers pumped gas and greeted customers to raise funds for the United Way of Greater Knoxville’s 2016 campaign. During the three-day event, Pilot donated 5 cents of every gallon of gasoline sold and 10 cents of every dollar spent in-store to the United Way.
